It all started with a phone call, one of those unexpected calls that fill your heart with emotion: our Hotel San Michele had been selected to participate in an episode of the renowned program “4 Hotel” with Bruno Barbieri. After interviews and selections, the long-awaited confirmation arrived: we would be one of the four hotels featured in the episode dedicated to Trapani and its surroundings. From that moment on, an extraordinary adventure began, full of challenges, adrenaline, discoveries, and above all, teamwork.

Behind the cameras were joy, dedication, smiles, and that little spark of emotion that makes your heart beat faster. We simply stayed true to ourselves, showing what has always set us apart: warm hospitality, high-quality services, and pride in showcasing the beauty of Sicily. We highlighted our passion for hospitality, attention to detail, respect for colleagues and their work, promotion of local, zero-kilometer products and traditions, care for the environment and sustainability, and above all, the strong sense of belonging and teamwork that has always characterized Hotel San Michele.

We achieved the highest overall score among the hoteliers, the most precious recognition because it came from our colleagues. The Barbieri Plus (5 points) shifted us from first to second place, leaving us just 3 points behind the winner. A result that fills us with pride, especially for having competed against 4-star hotels and demonstrating the value of our work. This experience was much more than a competition: it confirmed our identity and our daily mission, showing that with passion, dedication, and teamwork, important goals can be achieved—always with a smile and the desire to make every guest feel part of a big family.

A special thanks goes to Gruppo Multi Erice, to our extraordinary team at Hotel San Michele, who faced this challenge with enthusiasm and professionalism, to our guests who supported and encouraged us until the very end, and to the team at 4 Hotel and Sky, who welcomed us warmly and allowed us to experience this journey in a serene and enjoyable atmosphere.

Now we can’t wait to welcome in person those who discovered us through the screen, to let them experience firsthand the magic of this unique place, just as we fell in love with it ourselves.
